Frequently Asked Questions
Check here for frequently asked questions. Don't see an answer for what you are wanting to know? Email us at email@example.com, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
When will you be open?
We will be open as soon as we finish our commencement inspection with the Department of Health and Senior Services' division of Medical Marijuana and have access to Missouri-grown product. DHSS and approved medical marijuana facilities are working hard to make that happen. We hope that date is in summer 2020 if everything goes smoothly.
Where are you located?
Our dispensary will be located at 460 State Highway 76 in Cassville, MO 65625 in the same building as the coming-soon Cassville Coffee Shop. We are easily found on Google maps and Apple maps. We are NOT located at Roark Family Health Clinic & Medical Spa; the dispensary is a totally separate location.
What kinds of products will you have?
We will carry all kinds of medical marijuana products, including dried flower/bud, various edibles, tinctures, ointments, transdermal patches, and more. We will constantly be stocking everything our patients need and want, including high CBD strains specifically for children with severe epileptic disorders and more.
Where do you get your medical marijuana?
Our medical marijuana will come only from Missouri-licensed growers and manufacturing facilities. Every single product on our shelves will be tried and true and lab-tested to make sure you are getting the highest quality product at the lowest possible price to our patients.
How do I get my medical marijuana card?
I have my medical marijuana card, can I buy marijuana yet?
Unfortunately, no legal marijuana dispensaries are open in the state of Missouri yet. If you have a patient cultivation card, you can grow your medicine at home. If you do not have a patient cultivation card, you may have a licensed primary caregiver grow for you, as well. More information about Qualified Patient-Primary Caregiver relationships can be found here:
Arkansas and Oklahoma also both honor Missouri Medical Marijuana cards if you apply for a temporary card through their Medical Marijuana divisions. However, be aware that it is federally illegal to transport any kind of marijuana across state lines. Learn more about the Arkansas Temporary Card Here and the Oklahoma Temporary Card here.
Will you make deliveries?
Yes! Once we are open with product, we will offer medical marijuana deliveries for those living inside Barry County. Patients will need to prove their identity and order their medicine prior to a delivery being scheduled. Our delivery plan is a work in progress, and certain communities (such as Eagle Rock, Shell Knob, Wheaton, and Monett) will only have deliveries certain days of the week. Call the dispensary, email or Facebook message if you have additional questions.
Will you have online ordering?
Yes! Once we are open, we will have online ordering available. If you know what you'd like, you can order your medicine ahead of time, and it will be ready for you to pick up. Patients will still need to have their identity verified at the dispensary to pick up their medication either inside or at the drive thru.
I have my patient card and just don't know where to begin or what questions to ask when I come to the dispensary. Help!
As soon as our doors are open, you can be guaranteed that we will have the most knowledgeable, compassionate, and well-trained staff around. Our floor staff will be able to answer your questions and help you find the products to give you the relief you need. We will also have a trained LPN specializing in patient education on staff to meet with patients privately in one of our consultation rooms if your questions are more in-depth or you'd like more privacy. From how to take your marijuana medicine to dosing and recommended strains, we are here for you!
I'm a home cultivator looking for genetics, can I get those from the dispensary?
Eventually, yes! Patients who have their home cultivation cards will be able to purchase tried-and-true seeds, clones, and growing supplies from the dispensary as soon as we open. We will supply seeds from licensed-cultivators in the state of Missouri, as mandated by the state.
I don't have a card, can I come in the dispensary to purchase other things?
No. Only patients or primary caregivers may come into the dispensary, even if you are not purchasing medical marijuana. The rules from Missouri's Medical Marijuana program prohibit visitors except under certain circumstances. However, patients are allowed to bring up to two people to assist them inside the dispensary if they need.
Do you sell CBD products? I just don't want the THC in medical marijuana.
We will offer CBD products to our patients, however, we are only open to medical marijuana patients. If you would like CBD-only products and are not a medical marijuana card holder, our Medical Director and Founder. Dr. Lisa Roark, MD, has a medical clinic that sells those products online and in her clinic. Their website is RoarkFamilyHealth.com.
I'm interested in medical marijuana, but I'm worried about my privacy.
We take patients' rights and privacy very seriously. All of our staff are fully trained in HIPAA compliance and can be trusted with your privacy and information. For patients who are still worried, we will offer home deliveries during specified times to patients within Barry County.
I am a medical marijuana cardholder in another state, can I visit the dispensary?
Unfortunately, no. Right now, Missouri's Medical Marijuana program does not allow for temporary cards for out-of-state cardholders. If that changes, we will gladly open our doors to out-of-state patients.
Where can I get one of those 'Keep Calm, It's Just a Plant' t-shirts I keep seeing?
We love our shirts, too! We will eventually have the shirts for sale on our website and in the dispensary, but for now you can buy them online through our Medical Director's medical clinic website RoarkFamilyHealth.com.
Are you hiring?
Whether we are hiring or not, we are always accepting resumes via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
